I most often work with literary, arts, and small business professionals.
A successful blog is now one of the most effective ways to get the word out about books, projects and brands. In fact, publishers now often require authors to keep a blog about their projects. As a content management expert, I create engaging content and promote that content across all networks (social networking and viral marketing). In most cases I continue to work with clients on a long-term basis as blog or web editor, or as a ghost-blogger for authors, providing ongoing content and promotion of that content.
When I am not working online, I advise authors on their readiness to submit their work to agencies, and recommend next steps on that often intimidating journey. As a former agent and seasoned editor, detailed line editing is my specialty - my skills were forged in the fires of the New York literary agency world, where I trained at Writers House under the direct supervision of founder and agent Al Zuckerman.
